What we collect.
What we don't.

Plain version

WeldRunners publishes a fabrication supplier directory, welding opportunities, and practical resources. It also operates a written private fabrication sourcing pilot. Public marketplace submissions and private sourcing service records are handled differently. We do not sell personal information. We do not charge suppliers for shortlist inclusion.

What we collect

  • Directory and marketplace submissions. A supplier profile, job, availability post, project, claim, or inquiry may include contact and organization information, location, capabilities, credential evidence, and the other fields shown on that form. Information intended for a public post may be published; direct contact and claim records are used to operate the requested workflow.
  • Sourcing preflight. The pilot collects buyer contact and organization information, work email, role, authority and funding answers, project-value band, fabrication category, geography, timing, sector, information classification, consent, and a short blocker only when permitted. We also record request and receipt identifiers, first/last attribution and campaign fields, the submitted path, and a hashed IP for abuse prevention.
  • Private service records. If a sourcing case proceeds, private service records can include classifications, case and payment states, written requirements, candidate research and dispositions, source-linked evidence, unresolved questions, supplier communications, message delivery events, operator actions, and agreement, invoice, and payment references.
  • Operational records. Railway processes request logs such as IP address, user agent, path, response code, and timing for security and reliable operation. If you correspond with us, we retain the communication and its delivery status as needed to respond and maintain the service record.

Information boundary and rejected scope

Sourcing preflight is text-only: do not upload files or submit export-controlled, classified, ITAR-sensitive, CUI, personal health, payment-card, or other restricted data. The pilot refuses public-sector work and submissions classified as restricted, controlled, or unsure. A refused submission retains only buyer name, organization, role, work email, classification, a canonical rejection reason, request and receipt identifiers, status, timestamps, and audit events. Scope fields, blocker text, attribution, campaign fields, submitted path, discovery source, and hashed IP are discarded for that refused submission.

Payments

If a sourcing engagement reaches payment, payment is handled through an external invoice or payment page. WeldRunners stores invoice and payment-status references, not card data. Payment attempts, confirmation, delivery, acceptance, refunds, and disputes are maintained as separate service facts.

Tracking and ranking

  • No third-party advertising trackers.
  • No cross-site tracking pixels.
  • We do not sell personal information or marketplace search history.
  • Supplier payment does not determine directory position or sourcing shortlist inclusion.

Who processes information

Supabase processes database and private service records, Railway hosts the application and processes operational logs, and Resend processes service email and supplier communications. Sourcing tables and operator workflows use restricted service-role access; private case, contact, message, and evidence records are not public supplier listings. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the service, its users, or others.

Retention

We manage separate retention categories for rejected intake, active cases, messages and evidence, financial references, security logs, and closed cases. A case may record a retention or deletion date. Records are kept only as needed for the applicable service, security, accounting, dispute, and legal obligations. The formal category schedule remains subject to recorded review; this policy does not represent that legal or insurance review as complete.

Corrections and deletion

You can request correction or deletion of information you submitted by emailing [email protected]. We may verify identity or authority before changing a public profile or private service record. Some records may be retained when required for security, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations; we will explain an applicable limit when responding.
