On-Site / Mobile Welding

Mobile rigs that come to the job. For work that can't leave the site — pipeline emergency, ranch equipment, marina hardware.

What you're getting

On-site welders bring the shop to you. Truck-mounted generator, gas tanks, and a full set of stingers. Great for ranch and farm equipment, pipeline work, structural repair on big steel, and any job where the broken part can't be hauled to a shop. Expect a trip charge plus hourly labor.

About on-site / mobile welding

  • Do mobile rigs do all kinds of welding?

Most carry MIG, TIG, and stick capability. Smaller rigs may not have everything for aluminum or stainless work — call ahead to confirm the process for your project.

  • What's a trip charge?

A fixed fee that covers travel to the site. Usually $50–$200 depending on distance. The hourly labor starts when work begins, not when the truck leaves the shop.
